Lowrance Partners with MotorGuide for GPS Trolling Motor

Most of us know that MinnKota has ruled the trolling motor market the last couple of years with their great GPS enabled iPilot series trolling motors. These things are like having a dedicated captain at the helm or an autopilot. And once you get used to them you wonder what you did before they came along. The only negative with the iPilot is it only talks to Humminbird chartplotters and most people don't have Humminbird units on their dash.

That's all changed now with MotorGuide teaming up with Lowrance to offer their new GPS enabled trolling motors with Lowrance HDS integration capability. The new Xi5 line will work with all HDS Gen2 and HDS Gen2 Touch units.

Check out the press release at this location or contact me for further details: Angler-Products.com

I'll be at the Houston Boat Show most of this week at the Coastline Marine booth. PM me if you'd like to meet.

Good luck out there.

Im not a fan of the remote compared to the ipilot. The screen is very useful on my ipilot remote
