New Orleans Advice

Looking for a good place to watch a game, this is usually not an issue for me, but this time I will have my young kids with me. Are there any kid friendly places with TV's, beer and decent food that aren't Hooters/BWW chains?

On Fulton Street Downtown by Harrahs

Gordon Biershe
Mannings

In the Hyatt

Vitascope, they have everything from Sushi to Pizza to Burgers

I've taken my kids to all 3 without any issues

Gordon Biershe !!!!! I never knew this place existed and we went there for lunch before the NO bowl and I must say its it now one of if not my favorite place to go. It is very family friendly and they have there own microbrewery that you can see from inside the resturant. Go sit in the bar area, not really a bar just has the bar and some tables. Food is excellent and the beers are amazing with plenty of TVs for the game.

We will be in NOLA this weekend too. Going hunt Point Aux Chiens Saturday morning then BDAY party for my niece at 2pm. Then me and the ole lady are heading into the city for drinks, eats (oysters and seafood) and to watch the game.
Looking to maybe sit somewhere near French Market..open to suggestions also

The place that normally has no business that wants to charge a $10 cover on Saints game day just to get a burger, no thanks.

Good choice but I'm sure he's not going to be all the way down by the river.

Downtown is walking friendly, if it's you and your wife every bar is going to have the game on.

Not really kid friendly

I'd go to barcadia. It's right by the convention center and extremely kid friendly. Good tvs also. They serve excellent food as well. Lots of games for the kids.

I was sold when I read that the place was filled with 80's arcade games for .25¢ each, life size connect four and giant jenga!

This place is on point. Not huge, not cramped, exposed brick, perfect lighting, good service, good food, Parish on tap and a ton of other beers, and the kids are having a blast.

Can't wait for kickoff when everyone gets rowdy

Glad you like it over there. Gotta try anything with those pork preserves. The beer selection is top notch and good mixed drinks too.
