Christmas Day

2 Attachment(s)
Made a hunt up in Jones, LA at The Bartholomew Club. Not a whole lot of birds flying over the farm, but they since Arkansas has a 2 day split on Christmas they usualy dont on the 25th. The club is on the Arkansas border with a couple of blinds actually in Arkansas. It also borders the SE corner of the Overflow NWR. Had to come back last night so didnt get to hunt today. The ducks that did fly over worked pretty well though. We ended up with 7, my fiance killed her first Greenhead and I killed my second Canvasback. It was a juvie and kind of messed up so I'll have to kill another one for the wall. Hope everybody had a Merry Christmas

Looks like a great hunt. That place is top notch, got to hunt out there in high school a good bit before they had the lodge.

Do you happen to duck hunt on a lake near Breaux Bridge? If its not you, then you have a twin

Yeah it's nice up there. My BIL is the chef so I get to make a couple hunts a year. I must have a twin. I've never hunted near Breaux Bridge. I hunt mostly by Ville Platte and Port Barre sometimes
