Does anyone have this type of lift on their boat hatches? How do they hold up? Im thinking about ordering a few to install on my boat.

You might want to look into the hatch springs if you gonna install yourself...getting them hydro's just right is a pain sometimes...I got some from Seasense Marine on my surface drive boat hatch, they work good and easy to install. That is, if your just looking for something to hold the lid up while digging around in your storage.

most auto places keep a few different lengths in stock and different poundage. most car hoods use these.

I have these on my 99 TX21 Triton. The metal brackets from factory have rusted but the supports are good. They also have the brackets in Stainless steel. I have bought from them twice and saved money both times.http://www.liftsupportsdepot.com/‎. if you want I can take pictures where the are put on and how. I have a couple of front storage boxes with big lids and rod boxes.
