Bryan Satchez & Jake Lensing with PECI, Hunter Hebert with Columbia Pipeline Group, and Trina Bazzell with Hoerbiger joined me today. Nice having Bryan back on the boat with his crew!! We departed the Reel Inn Lodge at daybreak and found the yellow mouths in lockjaw mode. No problem, as the reds and bass didn't seem to mind the colder conditions and no tide movement. With some nice reds and bass on ice we were still in pursuit of those yellow mouths. We made a move and started slinging in some nice ones up to three pounds!! Things slowed, so we made one more move and found what we were looking for. Everyone started slinging in fish 360 degrees around the boat (tightlined and under corks on Matrix Shad). Trina even got to fight a 25 pound bull red which we released to fight another day! Despite the tougher bite today everyone had a blast and we pulled it of at the last stop, leaving the fish biting. Thanks again guys for a great day.
