Managed a nice little mess and thats a 13x9 cake pan for size reference on the flounder.

That's awesome, I've been trying to find the flounder there and have trouble picking up more than 1 or two.

Found these by a cut leading into the bay on out going tide. They were chasing mullet and pogy. Normally just catch one or two myself.

Mud bottoms. I need to target them more. I catch a lot of big ones out there

Been hitting mud bottoms at mouths, and hitting ledges. Place is full of mud, just ain't holding my mouth right I guess - plus you gotta work the area real well, I like to stick and move. Gotta sloooow it down

This holds true for a lot of different species also. Especially in the coming months when it gets really cold. Mud retains heat a lot better than clay.
