Leeville 10/26

Left out from Bobby Lynns early Saturday. Headed to the marshes on the West side. Set the anchor and picked away at the trout until they shut down at 10:30 or so. Made a short move and about an hour later the reds turned on. It was my son's first saltwater trip and it was definitely a memorable one. Ended the day with 25 trout and 6 reds.

Nothing wrong with that. He's hooked.

Awesome trip!

Way to go Dad! Looks like it was a good time.
|
That's awesome!

Looks like your son had a blast. Nice mess of fish.
|
Thanks guys. He had a blast. He had a keeper on his first cast, I was still in the process of rigging my rod.....

Way to put the young man on a good time. Is the pic in your avatar your boat? That is one sweet rig. What kind of boat is that?
|
Yes, that is my boat, and thanks. We were obviously fishing out of my flat this day. The brand is A-1, made in St. Rose, La. Supposedly the owner of A-1 worked for Scully's, then Hanko's, then went into business for himself.
