Reuters: Pirates attack Louisiana company's ship; 2 kidnapped Oct 24, 2013 7:06:AM Reuters is reporting that a ship owned by a Louisiana company has been attacked off the Nigerian coast by Pirates. The report says the vessel, owned by Edison Chouest Offshore, was traveling through the Gulf of Guinea when it was attacked Wednesday morning. The ship's captain and chief engineer, who Reuters says are American citizens, were reportedly kidnapped. The Reuters report quotes a U. S. defense official, who says the State Department and FBI are leading the American response to the situation. The report quotes another officials, who said that although a Marine Corp unit is in the area, it is unsure if any military intervention will take place. |

Yep, I have a crew working off of Ghana now. GHana is much safer but not that far away. Now the whole crew is talking about hazard pay.

They hired armed escorts companies to help and the governments over there are locking the escorts up amazing they can catch our guys and lock them up but can't catch the pirates

Some boats have water cannons. Most of them want money and most of the capties are returned.
