if anyone will be heading north through alexandria and pineville to go hunting this season, you will have to plan a new route, the gillis long bridge over the red river will be closed for repairs for approximately 100 days for repairs, this according to channel 3 website,

Now my question is which one is the gillis long bridge? Is it the one on hwy167/28 or little further north 165b jackson street, or little more further north hwy165/71, not to much of a detour either way, but don't want to choose wrong when we head north:help::help:

just stay on 49, get off on 85a then get off at the pineville exit from 167. It is the bridge that is on 165 over the river

thanks Meaux, it isn't the one on the "Pineville Expressway" so it won't affect our drive at all
