Caught one today

Things are getting kinda boring here between playing golf mostly everyday and shooting things on Xbox at the morale building.

So after I golfed myself out today, I tied on a 1/4 ounce white jig head and a saltwater assassin chicken on a chain color. Stood on the rocks by the ship and just started casting not really expecting much. Boy was I surprised when I felt this sucker hit. So long story short, didn't keep it (don't know if size limit, and no place to cook it). Missed probably 10 more possible flounders but
I did manage to meet my CO who fishes too so in all it was a good day. Got the fishing fever now.

Boy. You are on a US Navy Ship. The first dang thing you do is make friends w/the highest rank you can in the galley! If you get a few flatties you give him one or two.
That way if you catch ,you clean and can get them cooked.
\ doesn't hurt to fish w/ the CO either?

I will never give fish to a CS for them to clean and cook... I want it to taste good.

I tried to get CO to let me use his boat but they don't have trolling motors for 90,000 ton warships.
