Facebook: Lake Charles Kayak Fishing, PLEASE READ

There is now a facebook page to connect Southwest Louisiana Kayak Anglers... Please look up and like "Lake Charles Kayak Fishing"... This page will also promote the future formation of a much needed Lake Charles Kayak Fishing Club... So please like and share with other kayak anglers... It is my hopes that one day we will be able to have a local club, maybe this page will plant the seed... We need solid support to make this happen...

We need to all come together on this... lets keep pushing... I have several "irons in the fire" trying to make this happen... I may see about contacting you to see what avenues you have already looked into... hopefully you would still be on board... IMO it needs several shoulders to fall on to see it through...

Im still on board. Although i dont do much kayak fishing anymore since i got my boat.

Maybe we could get support from a local shop (idk like River Less Paddled, hint hint) to host meetings, etc.

Just a thought!!!You guys are all welcome to join Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club. Our club has members all across SW Louisiana. We host 2 tournaments a year on BL that are open to the public. We also host many club trips to BL and surrounding areas.

Great Club and great forum (which I am a member of)... I just think it would be great to have something local, as Lafayette is still a good hump for people in LC to be very active in... like meetings, etc... maybe the Lafayette Club could start a LC branch or host meetings here every other month...

We really want to see a strong paddling community here and will do whatever we can to help out! :)
