Prop pitch

I can hold my own on the motor side but prop pitch and props in general is a weakness. How do I tell watch pitch is my prop or what pitch I need. Mines done for starting to run high rpm a way too high. So high some times over rev/cavitation light will come on n ill slow down a bit n it'll kick off

For every degree of pitch you go up or down you will loose/gain 200 rpm's. A prop that is worn out will also gain rpm's cause you loose surface area. Bring it to the prop shop on a monday or tuesday and it will be done by that friday. Talk to Cade he will hook you up.

Honestly the pitch stamped on the prop is very seldom correct. When I worked there we would take brand new props out the box and put them on the pitch gauge.....very seldom would they be correct.

I've heard this that's y I asked. I got some purty good dings in it. Will prop shop fix that? Figured it couldn't be fixed.

Should I pull it off or do they want the boat and pull it off there? I'd like them to take a look at prop shaft and inner goods.
