Came down with some friends from N La. Fished yesterday afternoon. Was crazy windy found good water in lake Pelto at the rigs caught probably 100 dinks with 7 keepers. Went back in the marsh looking for reds and caught 1. Tide wasn't moving at all this weekend. Today just me and another guy decided while the other three chased reds. We hit the rigs in Pelto on the way to islands and never left em. Caught our 50 and took it to the house. All trout caught on tight lined tko shrimp on a 1/8 oz jig head instead of the normal hook. Nice catch and good chatting with you. We ended up with 30 or so yesterday before the weather ran us back in.

Launching out if coco in a bit, never been. Wish me a little luck!

MattMigues 06-03-2013 12:28 PM

Good luck, and we caught pretty well on first couple reefs, only 3 or so miles into Pelto.
