Big Lake on Saturday - Help Please

Hey guys, my dad and I are planning to make another trip down to Big Lake this weekend for one of our annual fishing trips. It's been a while since we fished in LA so we're looking for some help to catch some trout and maybe even some redfish.

Can someone point us in the right direction?

Go Aggies :D

One thing I can tell you is that the trout shoot out is saturday and there will be a crap load of people and boats out there. When I learn how to catch fish for myself I will start giving out pointers lol

What do you consider the "short rigs" and how far are they from the jetties?

Rough crowd. Seems like every time I post I get a new friend request - what's up with that????

Regardless of the fishing, we're staying at L'Auberge Fri/Sat night, so we should have a great time.

FishinChick 05-30-2013 05:10 PM

Is there any place to buy croaker on the lake?

jchief 05-30-2013 05:16 PM

If you wear a bikini, you can hop in with us.

TidalSurge 05-30-2013 05:17 PM

Maybe if we had a pic of you in your boat we would get a idea of what kind of Fisherwoman you are.

TidalSurge 05-30-2013 05:18 PM

If you want croaker just tie on a Crazy Croaker. If you want some tail we have a split tail.

"W" 05-30-2013 05:38 PM

Pic of you and your biggest trout...and i will send you to a honey hole that will win
