Anybody know anything about raising wild rabbits we have 5 babies that a momma left In our hog cage didnt know if she would take em back so we brought em home Attachment 49618Attachment 49619

Just feed em pet milk but heck they look big enough to start eating rabbit food

I put em in a dog kennel with Some dehydrated alfalfa hay and water feeders with a light on em Attachment 49620

They were behind my house I wasn't just gonna abandon em. A lot of tones when you move babies the mom won't take em back. We had no choice they were in the trap itself

are you sure the mother left em? maybe went to get something to eat

best thing is to leave them be and let nature take it course as bad as that sounds. That would make a owl, hawk, snake, bobcat, or fox very happy. Not sure about bunnies but many times if you have LDWF come out for a fawn they just 'dispatch' it because its not worth their time

Well the problem was that we were going put the hog trap out,a nd they were in it. so we had to move the nest. I didn't think she would take em back but I read that they are the proper size that they were either just weaned or were about to be.

I must have a baby nursury in my back yard..... I find nest all the time. I dont try to raise them though. I seen one little bigger than that this morning.
