Picked up a 54" cut Bad Boy Mower with a 31 horse kawasaki today, and a 12'x6' trailer. That thing is a beast!! I ran through some pretty thick grass at my property like it was nothing. Plenty of power and a very comfortable ride.

gotta love that wing on the back!

If I had to buy another one this is what I would go with. I ended up with a deer but I think you get more bang for your buck with the bad boy.

Awesome mower BJ. You ever cut with a Gravely? I'm looking at a Bad Boy and a Gravely...Bad Boy has a smaller cutting deck and is a couple hundred more on price. I used a Gravely last summer several times and liked it just wanted to see you used both and could compare the two.

My BB is 2yrs old & I cut 3 1/2 acres. Been a great mower.

I got a toro last fall after looking at em all. I had a gravely for 10 years before it crapped out

nice mowers, I bought a sticking Dixie Chopper 5 yrs ago and wish I had my money back every time I crank or try to crank it... the Bad Boy looks like a very stout machine and you cant beat a kawasaki engine

My uncle has one of those. Bad Mamma Jamma. Goes fast enough if you hit a small bump it will spill your beer.

I was in a toss up between the Bad Boy and Scag. I wound up with the scag but, it was mainly because of price and, there wasn't much out there about the BB when I bought mine.

Glad to see this!!!! - I was going with another X-mark, but really liked the BB and went that route because of the Kawasaki engine - got me the 46" deck with 21hp. Should do well for my needs.

I have the MZ 48" with 27hp. Most of other brands in a 48" was 20-22hp.
MY WIFE LOVES CUTTING WITH IT!:work:;)

I've never cut with a gravely but I've also never herd anything bad about them. It was a toss up between bad boy and gravely for me also but on the gravely the decks are made with 10 gauge and on the bad boys the decks are made with 3 gauge. The one I bought is the outlaw extreme. It came with a 3 year warranty on the engine and 2 years on everything else. It's a commercial unit and probably a little more mower than I need for 2 3/4 acres but hopefully it will last me a long time.

msuchill4 04-24-2013 09:31 AM

that outlaw is a bad A.. i have an mz and it is pretty bad its self, best thing tho is if you buy it at cutters, there gonna take care of you .. my next one will be an outlaw if the mz ever ****s out, but i dont see that happening for a while
