Goose Grit

I'm looking to get a truck load or so, but not sure where to get it. I've only ever bought a sack from the feed store. Anyone have experience with it? Know a place near Kaplan/Crowley?

got my last truck load from Port Ag out of Jennings

Thanks, talked to Will at port ag today. Said they have some at their sand pit in Indian village. How do you go about spreading it?

I got it fairly flat with the front end loader and then hit with the disk a few times

Sand

Thanks, I knew what it was for, just wondering what it was made up of. I didn't know that you could buy it, but it stands to reason that you may need to buy it for yard ducks or geese. Is it legal to put this out near your blind?

Yes. It is not a food source.
