Sabine River Largemouth - Any Help

Hi all,

New to the page and looking for some info on the Sabine River, will be fishing out of the Orange, Texas public boat ramp in few weeks and looking for some tips and pointer. I know nothing about the river and have never fished it before, so any feedback is greatly appreciated........Tight Lines:)

Welcome !

Lots of good fishing on that end, just watch were you go as some places get skinny real fast !!! Especially watch points and intersections of larger bodies of water, lots of sandbars that extend out into the river...

North or South produce well at most any time, cuts are prime targets. Just watch yourself running into some of the backwaters to your east, it turns into Louisiana real quick :smokin:...

Thanks for the feedback, any tips on types of baits or colors?
