Dulac marsh/dularge lakes Good Friday
 

All good thing come to an end. Trout deep in the marsh that I've been hammering for two months have played out. Five dinks first thing, couple 18 inchers on mirrodines and a few decent fish on top before I sighted up limit of reds. Most trout had immature egg sacs.Attachment 48272Attachment 48273
Afternoon loaded up the little ones and made trips to buddies camp in the marsh to the west. Grown-ups let the kiddies play Lord of the Flies while we fished. Camp still in one piece when we got back! Put together a dozen or so on topwaters with 2 (18)s and a 19.5 to win the pot in Mud Lake. Fish tacos and cold pops. Good times in the land of lil trout!
