Reel repair

I have some 15 year old calcuttas, a few have never been worked on and a few have. Not sure which ones have. None seem to cast well anymore. Who in lake charles rebuilds and repairs reels?

Who was the guy the tackle box was using last year? Find out who he was and don't use him! Several of my reels came back loose. The handle fell off one while my son was fishing with it.

He has been cleaning my reels along with just about every guide on the east side for years and I have never heard of a problem.

When you get your reels back you do have to tighten your drag back up because he leaves it loose.

Also if there is a problem he will fix it for free you just have to call or bring back

He worked on one twice. Don't know maybe just a coincidence.

x10!!! He's a good freind of my dad and we've never had a problem with his work

T-TOP 03-22-2013 08:54 AM

I asked the tackle box if he would make it right they said, no. All 3 that came back loose were within 2 months of each other. Maybe he was overloaded with work

Reel Repairs

I will always be glad to rework a reel that does not work right.
Just call me or come by. I have never refused to recheck a reel.
If you don't have time to drop it off just call and I'll pick it up.
I can't be more fair that that. Please don't cut me down without
giving me a chance. That's all That I ask.

Thanks

Reelman

Ron Ardoin (reelman) has done a few reels for me in the past and is currently tuning another for me. Nothing but great things to say about his work! He will get my business every time.
