Great having Warren Higgins and Glenn Hickerson from Houston back on board the Bluewave today. We knew the conditions would be tough but my crew could not reschedule and were ready to battle what ever conditions we were given. We pulled out of The Reel Inn Lodge just after day break. Arriving at our first location we found hungry trout eating up our Matrix Shad Tiger baits and Green Hornet. It was a quick bite as they only gave us about 45 minutes before the bite shut down. We scouted a few locations I had not checked earlier in the week but had no luck. Off to the next area and we found clean water and started pecking away at the trout again. With a decent box of trout and the wind howling we decided to drift a few ponds for reds. We put four rat reds in the boat and had numerous reds follow the baits and bump them, but would not take the baits. My crew threw in the towel after covering a lot of water. Good time together regardless of the tough conditions. Thanks guys.
