shallow water crappie

I found some crappie but theyre in a cut that's less than a ft deep. So im assuming a jig ot shiner under a cork isnt gonna work cause the cork will scare them. Any ideas? Gonna.try some beetlespins tomorrow.

Tightline with a 10 or 12 foot jig pole would work

A small cork with a shiner will not scare them but the main thing if the water is that shallow is to be very quiet when approaching with a boat.Good Luck
