Good gun reapair in SW La.

I need to find a good gun repairman in the Lake Charles area.
I left my Judge under the seat of my truck for 3 weeks and it has some rust on the side and on the muzzle.
It needs a good cleaning and some blueing work on it.
Post them here or PM me please.

the jury finds u "guilty" of gun neglect... shame shame tisk tisk..

I dont know of any might wanna PM capt D... i know he duck hunts alot...

I never thought it would rust where it sat on the floor of the truck.
I had it between the seats and it fell thru to the floor.
I know someone in Cameron who can do it, but I don't want to drive that far just for that.

Go see Earl at his gun shop Hunters Supply on Kirkman. Best in town.

The gunsmith I use is in Glenmora, LA he has baked a teflon coating on all my guns. I hunt all season in Little Chenier and never have to even wipe my gun...no rust!!!!

Ray 10-19-2009 03:02 PM

Thanks for the tips. I will give Hunters Supply a call.
Glenmora is just a little too far out of my way.

Never heard of him? Where is he located?

Ray 10-21-2009 09:45 AM

I dropped it off at Hunters Supply.
1 1/2 week wait.

I know of 2 people who could do it for next to nothing, but I don't want the long drive.
I gots too much going on right now.

Ray 11-06-2009 06:05 PM

Earl hooked me up, pretty good price too.
