Made a scouting trip today, Capt Chris joined me on the big Bluewave. We fished different areas from yesterday finding a much slower bite than we expected. We found fish at every stop just not schooled up. Today's fish all fell victim to the Matrix Shad Green Hornet. They would not touch the Lemon Head like they did yesterday. You just never know, that's why being versatile and trying different colors is so important. Slow steady retrieve worked best in 2-6 ft water depths. We kept enough fish for supper and released the rest. Good times as always.
Good luck fishing.
