Background check?
 

I know you have to fill out papers and have them ran in order to buy a gun but if you buy more then one gun, say a few AR rifles, at once are you more likely to get flagged or have other issues buying? I have been thinking that if I happen up on several guns at once that I would buy them then sell them to folks that I know are looking.

my dad bought 4 new guns last year and 3 were at the same time with no hassle, but that was before all this bs.

Cody, the background check only takes a couple of minutes.

Weed, you shouldn't have any real issue getting more than one at a time. On pistols though, if you buy more than one in 5 days, there is additional paperwork your ffl has to do and the ATF looks into it.

I would recommend, even if they are friends that, at this point, if you buy a bulk deal, make sure when you do a legal transfer on the weapon. Just my opinion though.

From ATF.gov. It's not that your dealer would want to do this paperwork but, for whatever reason, they are required. Get ready because, it's very possible that this law will include all firearms before long.

§ 923 Licensing.

(g)(3) (A) Each licensee shall prepare a report of multiple sales or other dispositions whenever the licensee sells or otherwise disposes of, at one time or during any five consecutive business days, two or more pistols, or revolvers, or any combination of pistols and revolvers totaling two or more, to an unlicensed person. The report shall be prepared on a form specified by the Attorney General and forwarded to the office specified thereon and to the department of State police or State law enforcement agency of the State or local law enforcement agency of the local jurisdiction in which the sale or other disposition took place, not later than the close of business on the day that the multiple sale or other disposition occurs.

Oh yeah, make absolutely sure that the address on your DL matches your current address when you do go to buy a firearm!

My xds background check took less than two minutes the other day

I have recently moved and will be moving again in a month so my address on license is not correct..... anyone know what problem this may cause or away around it
