Store Restocking?
 

Does any of ya'll know what days and how often stores such as Wal-Mart, Academy and others that handle guns and ammo get in shipments? I know by asking and this info being posted it will help everyone on here looking to find what they need. Thanks Jason

I talked with a Manager at DeRidder,LA walmart the other night and she said that the warehouses they order from can not even get ammo. Take it with a grain of powder (pun intended)

Academy manager in Lafayette told me that they just order a bunch of crap and when it comes it comes...they are never really sure.

I have a friend who manages the outdoor dept of WalMart here and she said that, especially now, they don't have a scheduled time of arrival on firearms or ammo.

You're better off ordering ammo from a reputable distibutor who accepts backorders. I just ordered a bunch of ammo from Brownell's and they will not take the payment from my credit card until the ammo comes in and they ship it to me.

how much is shipping from companies like brownells and cabelas?

what they said about academy is correct they find out what they are getting when the truck pulls up
