Indian bayou bust
Me and a buddy hit Indian bayou this morning trying to get on some big ducks since we have only been shooting woodies lately. Well we bobbed and weaved through the woods till we got to a nice secluded lil opening with lots of food and great looking area. Well we thought we had hit paydirt when woodies were zooming around by the thousands. But we were sadly mistaken. Once the woodies shut down so did the hunting. Sat till 10 and never saw any big ducks in the zip code saw a total of 7 and they were 3/4mile away and 1/2 up

My podna that lives in cecila that knows all the honey holes said they have not been doing well on big ducks either.

I have a timber hole along MS river in St. Francisville. With all this weather we just got enough water to hunt it. Went Monday, could have shot 50 woodies but no big ducks.
