V. Bay!

Whats up guys! Haven't been able to go fishing the last two weeks and I'm in much need of a fishing trip. My g/f has been trying to get me out the house so I'm thinking about going on Wednesday. Does anyone have any water or fishing reports from the weekend. Thanks fellas

Nasty

Water is nasy in most of the bay...didn't go around the cove or Weeks bay though so I don't know about there. Very very very very very low vis. most places.

Talked to several people and they said the whole area is mud and mostly fresh, sucks dont it. Might have to go to big lake.....

speck-chaser 10-12-2009 09:01 AM

figured all of that wind was gonna stir things up, this whole weather system sucks.

jpeff31787 10-12-2009 09:17 AM

yeah.. it does suck. I might also try to convince the father to travel to big lake

either that or i'm going bass fishing in one of my honey holes.. just have to go get a new tackle box.. mine was stolen couple hundred bucks down the drain

speck-chaser 10-12-2009 09:53 AM

man when it rains it pours hugh? Lose your apartment, stolen tackle box?

Ray 10-12-2009 09:56 AM

I have lures stocked all over my boat. No box. If they want to steal all mine,
they will be busy for a while.

I'll NEVER use all these sand eels...........want some back???

sounds like our bay boat. we have a 2 five gallon buckets with about 20 academy bags in them both lol

I have some in the helm seat, some in the center console, some in a canvas bag in the front storage box and some in the stbd. storage box. Plus I always have a bag on the dash when I go fishing.

lol is that where all the bad weather puts it while your away?

j/k

my dad has the same luck as you.. he took off this whole week to fish and the weather sucks and the bay is muddy with no salinity.. happens to him everytime

speck-chaser 10-12-2009 11:24 AM

thats how it always is. You always get those reports too on the water"man you should have been here yesterday or a few days ago". I can be working and theres no wind. As soon as the boat gets hooked onto the truck, the leaves start moving.

I thought it was my fault that the weather was always bad when I am home, but when Jsmoke changed crews, the weather is now bad when I am at work and good when I am at home.
All this time I thought I was the jinx, but it actuallly is Jsmoke.
He changed crews so he could get some good weather to fish in and the weather followed him.
