Have you ever?

........bought a gun......shotgun, rifle or anything and just put it in the safe, closet, gun case and never even used it?

Micah 11-21-2012 08:49 PM

No

Spunt Drag 11-21-2012 08:52 PM

Shotgun and rifle, no. Pistol, yes. But I'm not a collector, I look at everyone of my firearms as tools, they all have a job.

2ndamendment 11-21-2012 08:57 PM

Yes Yes Yes

SULPHITE 11-21-2012 08:57 PM

Bluechip 11-21-2012 09:05 PM

Matt G 11-21-2012 09:20 PM

Hell no. I buy guns for one purpose only... To shoot $hit

hawkdriver 11-21-2012 09:41 PM

I was given one of those mini revolvers as a gift and I'll never shoot it. Worst present ever.

simplepeddler 11-21-2012 10:11 PM

Not meant to be a safe queen, but gets that way......

hawk...if it's an american arms......do yourself a favor........shoot the thing....they are nice little pieces

I grew up with my dad buying guns and never even loading them. He has a 2 millionth edition A5 that has never even been put together.!!!

I just like guns............they smell good.

I hear there brother.....but you can only shoot one at a time...( I think).......

Montauk17 11-21-2012 10:20 PM

Hell I have never made it home with a new gun without shooting it first

hawkdriver 11-21-2012 10:25 PM

Yep, it's a North American Arms 22 magnum, it still has the tag from the gun shop, maybe I'll hang it from my tree as an ornament this year. I'm worried it'l jump right out of my hand if I try to shoot it, and I don't want to buy a bunch of 22 ammo just to shoot it, but that would be a good excuse to buy another gun.

simplepeddler 11-21-2012 10:31 PM

man.....I'm telling you..........that is a nice piece......

To each his own, I don't buy anything unless it's going to get used, much less a gun.

I like them too, and they do smell good - but that burnt powder smells so much better than plain, cold steel IMO!
