Under Construction

The construction of this website reminds me of the construction job on hwy. 66 (Angola road) This is the 18.6 mile road between St. Francisville and Angola State Prison. This area is aka the Tunica Hills. I grew up about a mile from the front gate of the prison. It took only 17+ years to almost complete. They started on the st. fran. end, by the time they had reached Angola with the Construction they were already having to repave the end where they started. As we speak they are replacing all the small bridges on the road. Please don't get offended just trying to make a funny. It sounds like it will be nice when finished.

Someone I work with said his dad was the construction superintendent on that job.

You can't rush perfection. This place will be looking sharp in no time.

Pole,

Mabey they could have put some of the innmates to work like they should be, it would have been done faster...

I have not been on that road in a long time.......like before most of y'all were born.

It was/is ? a very pretty drive and interesting terrian in that part of the state. All the hills and bottoms are covered in thick vines.
