Launch from Ellenders bridge (Intracoastal Park) on the ICW, head west and take a left at the powerlines. Also can leave Spicers and follow Kelso bayou towards Black lake.

The "salt ditch" is about 1.5 miles west of the Ellenders bridge [Hwy 27 south of Sulphur].

If memory is correct.......the salt ditch is about .3+ miles west of the power lines. The "ditch" is ~40 yards wide, so it is easy to locate while riding down the ICWW.

When the tide starts moving, the current can get fairly strong. It will take a 1/2 oz [or larger] jig head to hold a bait to the bottom and a good boat anchor.
