Nice!!! You do all of your drawings? We have a Hypertherm 260 at the shop that I do a little side line with when I have the free time.

i got a h.s. guy that draws stuff out... he's prett anal about getting it perfect. and he gets it back to me the same day.

mines a 1650... i can get to pierce 1 1/8 steel.. cuts 1" plate 19" per min..

The drawings can be a beeatch sometimes. Can't have any overlapping or unconnected entities and it has to be in a certain layer for it to read. A lot of drawings that I get from other people to cut are all jacked up and will take me hours to fix so my nesting program will read it. They get pissed when they get that bill!!

I nest stuff for our plasma machines.... Draw it in a cut layer, scribe it in a scribe layer, DXF it out and you done.

Looks good. I could draw that up pretty easily.

I might be able to use some of your services. I'm a self taught CAD user. Some of the things people want are a bit advanced for my abilities.

I also have a raster to vector conversion program that I do all of my letters with. It can do a ton more, like scan a pic and convert it to a vector file for Autocad to read, but I'm not too good with that software.

swamp snorkler 11-02-2012 10:46 PM

I never messed with that, there ways you can import pictures and what not onto autcad and trace it out. I'm just learning it, o ly been doing for a year.

Also I have about 100 font styles that I can set my text to so i can get a lot of different styles that way.

If you run autocad and have questions on how to do something go to autocadblog.net, those guys who answer questions there know a lot more than me.
