question about the platforms with lights in v bay

Does anyone know if the fishing is good at night around those platforms in the bay? From what i understand, the lights attract bait. Was wondering if someone could help me out?

it is just like anywhere else in the bay, i have been there and done well and i have been there and caught nothing, it is good when the conditions are right, maybe someone can help with this time of year, i have never fished it in the fall or winter time, there used to be lights around directly on the water but for some reason they are not there anymore

I believe you are talking about dry reef. I have caught redfish there at night. Never fished it during the winter either.

I have fished it a bunch have done real well if the tide is moving either way. As long as it is moving. As far as the lights i have trolled all around the platform and caught quality fish in the shadows away from the lights . Directly in the lights just caught trash fish . Gaft top hardheads small croakers. The lights are good to see what you are doing verm bay has a mind of its own. Still better than being at work.
