Fishing at burn's point

Anyone fishing at Burn's Point? Are the reds running?

They were running before Isaac. Hadn't been since the friday after the storm but the blue cats were biting pretty good. This cool front passing through should turn them on. I'm thinking about heading that way this weekend. If you see a grey aluminum boat with a evinrude e-tec on the back say hello.....I'm Justin

You can fish all the canals off the intracoastal if you launch under the bridge stay toward the cabot side and fish all the canals coming off the intracoatal canal with dead shrimp or favorite catfish bait can normally catch at least 4 or 5 per trip maybe. Also head down 317 to the end at the campground/boat launch and fish bayou sale or the humble cut. Can also catch reds there too

I guess that's possible but the water is very fresh around the jaws.

I know, thats the same thing I thought but being that river so low this year and salanities so high, maybe it's one of those years. I caught trout on north west side of weeks bay already this year.

We caught 2 trout last year in November at mud bayou right outside the jaws so it's possible if you get them to stay biting
