Reports from Timbalier islands?
 

Just wondering if anyone has a recent report on the fishing around Timbalier islands to share.

Not happening right now

Was out last weekend and nothing. Think they may be moving in already?

No trout there ....ever lol

The trout are definitely moving back inside now. I fished three days last week out of Cocodrie and caught zip anywhere south of the old sulfur mine. Moved north to the little islands southwest of St. Elaine and the trout were everywhere. The next day for the hell of it I went to the mouth of Bayou Terrebonne near Seabreeze and it was crazy! Shrimp were jumping everywhere, birds everywhere, trout smacking the water everywhere. But I will admit there were a lot of throwbacks but it was fun as hell.
