The Bolivar Kid, Pool Pro and myself launched at "Safe Light" thanks to the full moon and Excedrin Migrain on Saturday and started throwing Tops at 4:45. Only thing biting that time of the day were the Skeeters. Plenty of bait everywhere as the Mullet looked like it was raining rocks and raft after raft of Pogies swam through but we fished hard till 11:15 and only scratched out 2 Trout and 2 Reds.
Our plans were to come in Hot at Calc Pt. just in time for the festivities to begin but we got stuck in the River waiting for the Rain and Lightening to pass. Lightening got a little to close so we decided to throw in the towel and head back to Dugas Landing.

We hated to miss the Party. Sounds like a large time was had by all. Congrats to everyone who helped out to make it happen and Congrats to the winners. Looking forward to next years event.

Nice report, thank you. I wish you guys could have made it but safety first... That was a terrible storm.

Was looking forward to seeing yall again, but discresition is the better part of valor. Lightning hitting the channel maker scared all of us.
