Good Ol Night Crawlers

1 Attachment(s)
The question has come up a couple times in the past few weeks about bait for noodles or jugs. Seen all kind of answers......I'm not much on catfishing but since I'm working straight nights my wife & I have been throwing out the noodles. It's a freaking kick! We've been using good ol night crawlers & have been doing really well. Started last night about 20 mins before dark & had these 18 by midnight. Blues & channels. When we get to catching, I guess it's the fish flopping & fish smell the gators come out the wood work! We spend as much time chasing off gators after our noodles as we do chasing noodles! Several times it's been a race between us & a gator to get to a fish & noodle 1st! Most of these aren't babies, most have been 8' up to 10'.

I usually use nightcrawlers or fresh cut bait. Thats about all i really care to fish for is catfish. Its a blast chasing noodles, running lines and hoop nets.

Well I left that part out......but since you tell. She fell over backwards out the boat at about 11:30 that night! Took her about .00002 secs to get back in! Seriously I don't how she got wet! I haven't laughed like that in a long time! They were biting really good didn't see any need in getting in & trying hand grabbing them!:smokin:

Oh you've already told half the world and I was shocked not to see it here.

I will also re-phrase my comment. It's only a blast to ONE of you if your wife goes overboard at night in a lake full of gators.

As I said....Happy Anniversary dear, that free entertainment was your gift! Lol.
