Help with Toledo Bend

I am on vacation next week and looking to do some bass and sac-au-lait fishing. I have only fished the Bend twice. Once at The Chicken Coup and another time out of Pleasure Point. I did good on the Coup but lousy the last time. Any help would be appreciated.

Had a friend just come back from two weeks at TB--the bite was pretty good this past week. Did really well on sacalait fishing in 23-26 feet of water on brushpiles...Shiners straight line about two turns up from bottom.
Our brushpiles are in Lanan..also did well near the island at the junction of San Miguel and Lanan...

C rigs in 16 - 18 feet of water with scattered grass is producing. So is pitching a 3/4 oz jig and craw in the thicker grass.
