Cleaning table ideas

I'm building a cleaning table for the back porch and need ideas, I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel and spend tons of money. I've got an old sink ima drop in there and I'm plannin on puttin a cutting board. Any other suggestions?

use treated wood, or even composite deck boards where applicable

Composite deck boards as cutting board , fasten them with ceramic coated exterior screws and countersink them so the heads don't mess up your knife

Attachment 35031 I used treated lumber. Just tell the wife your gonna make her a "potting table" that doubles as a fish cleaning table.

Thats one of the many tables I built for customers. Here is my latest that I built for myself.

10ft long decked with Trex Accents composite decking. Moen spray faucet with soap dispenser, 25x25 granite insert, under the backsplash LED lighting,
overhead flourecent lighting, and a Mexican thatch palapa top for those really hot days. Gater

Do the scales and guts get stuck in between the deckboards?

We just had one built like Brown Fin except not as long and sink was on the far right, cutting board screwed to the top on the left side. Just right of the cutting board, and back about 2' he cut a hole slightly larger than dia. of a 3/4" garden hose. Took about a 6' piece of hose and plumbed one end to water supply below table, and screwed a water nozzle to the other. Basically have a retractable hose for cleaning off the table/cutting board . Very handy having that right there, and cheap to do.

No they do not. I actually rip the rounded edges off with a table saw and suck 'em up tight to each other. You don't need to do that, if you suck them together real tight it's a non issue even with rounded edges still on. One thing with the composites is you don't have to worry about shrinkage.
