grand triple

will be dragging my boat to grand isle next month, i know i can find some reds and probably some specs, but would also like to find some other fish, would like to try to get me a triple tail, i have never caught one, don't know anything about them, how would i go about finding some and what kind of bait do i use to catch them, i would be ecstatic if i could catch a tarpon, just looking for some tips, not any regulations, i am decent reader but not to good a fisherman:shaking:

We catch them out of cameron, we just find a floating grass matt while heading offshore and troll around it throwing dead shrimp rigged with cork right next to the grass. You can normally see them swimming under the grass when u get close. Use some pretty stout line as they will go right into the grass normaly.

Look afound grass mats or any floating structure they will be floating around t. Toss em a gulp shrimp on a 1/16 oz jighead

Don't know about triple tail, but in a smallish boat looking for tarpon run the coast to 4 bayous, then head about 3-4 miles offshore, and fish the area between there and Bastain.

Triple tail don't have to be deep
