Underwater islands in Timbalier bay?
;)How many fish the old underwater islands in Timbalier bay? I know some of the most popular islands that Bob and others post on get fished heavily, but what about all the other underwater islands that are great producers starting this next month. I personally have 6 that I fish that produce well on certain tides and winds. I rarely see many fish em they mainly run right over them and dont see the up and down drop on the depthfinder.....most are 2-3 ft.

Thet have tons of them out there. All you have to do is a little research. I have some pre Andrew charts that help a lot

I am gonn be down next week to fish em, I prefer the ones on the east side but I recently last summer fished one I didnt know was there down by Brush.....yea I will be back to that one again this year. Most I fish produce 2-4lb fish. I quit chasing birds along time ago and now I chase structure. As for Bob, well he is trying to make a living but I dont agree with everything. Leeville is easy to fish for small specks but ya gotta do your homework like the last one said. June is my month for chasing the big ones, these next 2 months will be catchin fish ,exploring new areas and tweaking everything on the boat. A couple friends that fish the area regularly and I have made maps of the islands and other (hot spots) and noted on em what wind and what tide was when we did good at those locations. Overlayed the locations on a google earth map and that way we wont forget with old age. Kinda neat every couple weeks update your maps by emails and keep em under lock and key so they dont get posted on that other site.
