Trolling motor help

Going to purchase a Trolling motor for my 21 CC.
How do you know what shaft length to get without putting Boat in the water, and measuring from the Bow to the Water ???

My Boat is very similar to a Kenner, but shallower.
Very similar to Haynie's Hull.

On a bay boat, get the longest you can. You can raise or lower it as needed. If it is too short, you can't keep it in the water on rougher days

x 2..... I think it would be in the 54" to 62" range...

I have a 62" on my bass boat and you definitely dont have to worry about it coming out the water

Sounds like you might have a HAWK bay boat. Good investment!

62" is best for a bay boat. Don't go any shorter.
