Toledo 3/14
Me, Bassbum and his adult son hit the lake. Headed south to McGee flats area. Fished deep and shallow. Caught a couple on wacky worms and spinner baits shallow, around the brown grass on the banks.
Went to 6 mile, caught 20 or 30 fish with about 10 of em being keepers. Biggest about 2.5 but I lost one about 4. Best bait by far was a weightless fluke. Fished brown bank grass and some on the inside edge of hydrilla/coontail. 2 more stops, Housen and Indian mounds. I think we caught 3 fish. Wacky worm in 14'. I passed 20 or so boats heading up this morning on the way home. You will be able to walk across the boats this weekend. Good luck if you go. |
I'm headed there sunday night if plan holds out to do some catfishing monday. Sounds like a great time jude and thanks for the report.
