High Water

Looks like we have some major water coming down the Mermentau River for the next week. If it floods our south flat it should be on and I just might need some help shooting green heads during the week through the weekend. Lemme know if your schedule will permit and that means you also LCD.

Jennings got a little over 4" and Eunice over 6" and it's all coming through Grand Lake and into our lease. I am perkey like a co-ed after a rain storm.:D Hunting grass really turns my krank.

Yeah, the Mermentau got a lot. All bayous are overflowed. Plaquemine, Nezpique. Lots of spots for the ducks to hide. Driving on I-10 this morning I saw some ducks in flooded pasture right next to Exit 87. It was pretty cool.

cajunforeman 01-11-2012 09:20 AM

My buddy just sent me a pic of the launch under the lake Arthur bridge and you can see the ramp at all.

This will be GREEEAAAATTTT for Lackofsane refuge. It needed rain in the worst way.

I'm always ready, take care of your weekend buddies first. I like going during the week if that works out. Don't mind hunting in the grass at all.
