Lake Charles Redfish/Trout

Here is a youtube video of a neat sight I've been seeing over the past few weeks, including last night. And yes.... I do put a "few" reds on the grill pretty often with this little gem.

In the video it was a bit windy but they didn't care.

Most reds I catch from this bunch are 19-23".
Best part about it, I've never seen my 60 year old parents from Baton Rouge this youthful and excited. We've been catching limits every night we go out there (aside from North Wind Nights, in which you can only catch a few reds). Also, one of the pics is of me and my fiance's grandmother that she caught her first red on. We hauled it in on a perch pole with 12# line.

Good luck everyone!

Hey guys, it's actually a family friend's pier and I've yet to find out the type of light. However he does keep it on 24/7 and I don't even feel it when I bounce the bottom for flounder. When I find out I'll let everyone know! Also I've noted that these fish always circle counterclockwise.... I wonder if this is universal habit.

I have seen those lights on during the day and was wondering why they were on, now I know why. It is at Pelican Point I think.

And to think I've been fishing out of my boat this whole time, you got the hook ups.
