Red fish

I am in the process of doing a very intensive self study on red fish, i want to learn everything about the fish, from egg to spawn to growth to feeding habits, everything i want to master the species

but i was reading about one of the fishes favorite baits, and ran accross this one

anyone ever use it?

wow just found this statistic

Consider this: In 1983, when size limits were not yet instituted and the limit was 50 fish per person, anglers caught 2.5 million redfish averaging only 1.63 Ibs. per fish. Between 1987-1992, five years under current regulations, anglers boated 2.2 million redfish. But here’s the clincher: the average fish weighed four pounds

cant go wrong with a berkley gulp. I prefer the curltails over all of them. Saltwater Assasin makes many good colors but u can catch only one fish maybe two per bait. Get u some gulps with some ribbed jigheads. They stay on a lot better and last longer than a regular barbed jighead. So many tournaments anglers are using a cork and a gulp. LIKE CRACK!! I promise

I call it funky chinken and they will kick azz:smokin:

these are those swim baits i was talking about earlier. I know i am new to this but these seem to really work well. Trout and reds tearing them up! Tsunami Awesome Power is the brand.
