me and fritz20 made a run to fourchon saturday to fish. all summer we have been looking for clean water, well we found it and guess what i think it was to clean!! vis was 6-8 ft outside the pass and to the east by the beaches. we made it out to the beaches to find bait and fish busting the top everywhere, fritz had a nice blow up on a mirolure and i got a bunch of hits on a soft plastic right away, but no specks well 1 the rest was ladyfish and spanish macks. so we ran 10 miles to the west to the islands to find dirty water and storms moving in started to rain took off to the north hit rain every where we stopped!!! made it to the trusty redfish hole had 4 reds in 10 min nice tourney fish right under 27" and like 9 lbs!! then more rain . this storm was nasty 30 -40 mph winds raining so hard you couldnt see and a s load of lighting. bayou lafourche had 2 ft chop in it!! we made it back to the landing then it stopped raining so we ran back out but did not catch any more

Yeah we should post pics to back up our great day of fishing. 4 reds and 1 trout, we really crushed em'.
