Just for future reference I had a Ross goose and two Blue wings in the freezer for 3 years and my taxidermist said they look greatl,I just got them back and they are fine.I rap them in paper towels(dry)and put them in a gallon freezer bag.

I have a guy that did my pintail last year. I'll send ya his info if ya want it. Think he charged me $150. Great work! Oh yeah, he's right here in the Gonzales area.

For a fish you need to wet the paper towels then seal it in a freezer bag. I have 3 fish on the wall and 1 @ the taxidermist. Two of the ones I already have I had brought the same week I caught them and they came out perfect. This last one i left in the freezer for about 2 years and he just called to tell me that its loosing scales so it wont be AS nice a mount. One of the ones I already have was done by a different tax. and it lost scales but still looks good. They are all 3lb plus Sac-a-lait.
