Gastrointestinitis

Anyone Ever have this ?? Any tips/tricks to shake this ?? Got sick Saturday, went to doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with this. I'm on a "soft" diet for a week. Soft being soup, yogurt, ice cream, etc.

Did the Dr say anything about acid in the stomach causing this? Maybe some "acid reducing" pills could help.

I just got tested Wednnesday .....it ain't cheep..... for throat soreness. Found out getting older and your body don't work as good as before. Dr said the throat mussles stop work good and allows "acid" to come back up into the throat causing redness and some swelling.

He wants me to cut out eaten all the good stuff....acid causing foods and to sleep with my head and shoulder elevated some. Also taking a "acid reducing" pill.

Hope the soreness goes away soon...... so I can start "cheeting" on the diet.

I Just got over that.... They gave me some meds and put me outa work for a week... Just let it take it's course and take the meds prescribed.... I took alot of pepto bombs.... Take a shot glass fill it with pepto drop it in a bugger shot of crown and bottoms up... Either the pepto will help or the crown will make you forget about your stomach... Lol

Hate to say it but your gettin older everyday. Went thru the same thing years ago. Ya gonna need more fiber in your diet regardless where it comes from. Good news is it helps lower bad cholestoral.
