Took these today, 9/5/11, 4 days of north winds have taken their toll...

Wow....that is low water.

I wish you could have shown us a picture of the boat launch.

Could a small boat be launched at Hebert's?

The first two pics are right there at the launch, just north, i saw a few boats launch today, the launch at Heberts actually goes back alot further than most know, i also saw two boats trying to come back into Heberts and both were kicking up mud a long ways out. I'll take some pics in the morning of the launch and post them on here.

Looks like winter time on the lake!

Salt water will be pouring back in soon... Gooder fishing.

Just looked at live reading @ 3:30am and its all ready back up and around 2.5ft...

Holy Crap:eek:, sure hope this don't pull more water out of Toledo Bend:cool:

X2, its about to get right.

Tide is up this am almost 3ft....dropped twice under 1 foot...should have loaded the lake with shrimp and gave the lake a good flushing!!!!! Been needing some freshwater to come down.....

Limit of teal in 20 minutes and then slang some trout after.....not really. More like shoot some teal and then take a nap.

Have you haerd any reports from the Surf around Holly Beach or Johnson Bayou. How is the water clarity down there.
